I used wrapping paper on the back splash to add some interest for Christmas.

We built these wood shutters from Home Depot and stained them to look old.

We built a wood bar to allow a sitting area at the end of our counter. We extended the look of our cabinets by adding the top shelf to go to the ceiling.

I painted all my kitchen cabinets dovetail white (sherwin williams) and my island and desk down pipe charcoal (farrow and ball)

I painted my end cap with chalkboard paint and throughout the year we keep our menu for the week on it.

I painted stripes in my hall to make it feel more like a mudroom and add a little fun.

We added cedar boards from floor to ceiling in my half bath downstairs to look like ship lap and it smells amazing.
